Our Story

We were founded to address the growing gap in access to mental health services in underserved communities. Too many families—especially youth—are unable to access the care they need due to cost, availability, or a shortage of providers who understand their experiences.

At the same time, a new generation of clinicians is eager to serve but lacks access to quality training opportunities that prepare them for the realities of community-based care.

CytiCares was created to bridge both gaps. By embedding care within community organizations and investing in the next generation of clinicians, we create sustainable, community-centered solutions that address two critical challenges at once.

CytiCares operates as an independent nonprofit organization with its own mission, governance, and program delivery model.
